Samsung Health and related software are not intended to diagnose disease or other conditions, or to cure, mitigate, treat or prevent disease.

Q. What kind of content is available on Samsung Health on TV?

A. Samsung Health on TV will launch with both mindfulness and fitness content. Clear your mind with a peaceful meditation session or unwind with calming music.

And for those looking to sweat, Samsung Health will have a variety of workout content, including strength training, cardio, dancing, cycling, yoga, stretching and specialty workouts such as barre fitness and kickboxing.

Q. Where is it available?

A. Samsung Health on TV launches May 2020 in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Korea. The app will be made available on select 2020 Smart TVs that include all QLED models, Lifestyle TVs such as the Frame, Sero, and Serif, and Premium UHD TVs models TU 8000 and above.

Due to the advanced technology involved, it is not available to older TVs at this time. However, we are working on rolling the service to 2018 and 2019 Samsung Smart TVs. Exact timeline and model specifications are still TBD. Please check back later for more details.

Q. How do you access Samsung Health on TV?

A. Samsung Health should be located conveniently on the launcher bar of all TVs that support this service. Users can directly access Samsung Health from the launcher bar.

In case the app is not available on your launcher bar, you can download it from the App Store on your Samsung Smart TV.

Q. Do you need a Samsung Account to access Samsung Health on TV?

A. We recommend users be logged in with a Samsung Account on their TVs to enjoy the best experience.

Q. How is this different from the Samsung Health mobile app currently available on iOS or Android mobile devices?

A. Correct, Samsung Health is already available on iOS and Android as a standalone app. You may already have Samsung Health running on your mobile device and can continue to use it independently of the TV app. The mobile app is focused on helping you track key wellness metrics and manage your personal health. The TV app on the other hand offers a more content-driven experience with health and wellness content that helps you reach or maintain your fitness goals.

To enjoy the best experience, we recommend connecting your mobile app and other compatible devices (such as the Samsung Galaxy wearable) with the experience on your TV. This would allow you to experience the true power of a multi device experience and empower you to access and control your health and wellness in your own way.

Q. How do I connect my compatible wearable and Samsung Health iOS/Android mobile app to the TV app?

A. In order to do so, the following conditions need to be met:

  • You must be logged in with the same Samsung Account on your Samsung Health iOS or Android mobile app as well as on your Samsung TV
  • You must link your Samsung Health mobile account to your Samsung Health on TV app. This can be done inside the Dashboard on the Samsung Health TV app.

Q. Do you have to subscribe to Samsung Health on TV or is the service free?

A. Anyone can access the Samsung Health TV app for free and for a limited time, users can also access a select catalog of free content offered by our content partners1. However, consumers will also have the option to upgrade and subscribe to select content partners to unlock additional content and premium features for an additional fee.
