Rated 4 out of 5 by from Innovative Design This new range complemented our kitchen renovation. One very impressive feature that I noticed resulted from following the initial use instruction in the owners manual. It involved running the ovens at 400 degrees for an hour before cooking anything in them to eliminate chemical odors from the manufacturing process. Our old stove that we replaced would throw off enough heat that it would warm up the kitchen. This Samsung range did not and I attribute that to excellent insulation which was confirmed when I opened the oven door more than an hour after it finished and it was still very hot inside having retained most of the heat. The only downside I have seen so far is that it shows every fingerprint and keeping the top looking good and clean is a constant undertaking. Our old glass top range was much easier to keep clean since it did not have such a highly polished smooth black finish and was more matte except for the cooking surface over the burners.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I READ the negative reviews, bought it anyway, LOVE IT, here is why: First I must say, the half-oven with half-door feature is GREAT. Ovens each heat up quickly, and cook food evenly. We are a family that boils basic pots on the stove and bakes fries/potatoes/pizza in the oven - and one big turkey dinner per year. YES - the timer does not go past 99 mins. YES - the oven light shuts off when you open/close the door. AND YES - the temperatures are off by 10-25 degrees (I used an internal thermometer). But our last oven was from 2001, so how far off was that? Overall this was a smart move for us. I have not used the dual oven feature yet, and probably will not. We are a family, not professional chefs. If high-end cooking is that important to you, spend more money and buy something better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great range, but steam vent loosened dial numbers This range is exceptionally better than the old 1970s one that came with the house. Other reviewers have pinpointed the wonderful features it boasts. My complaint is this: I was baking food in the oven that gave off steam. The steam vent is located beneath one of the dials. As the steam condensed and dripped down, I decided to mop it up with a paper towel and in doing so, the printed numbers for the dial came off! The numbers just wiped right off. The steam vent needs a small hood or find a better adhesive for the labels.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Right out of the box. Problems, Problems Problems. We received this stove Aug 17/18. As per Home Depot's instructions, they said to make sure you try everything out before 48 hours as after that any issues is through Samsung warranty. Tested oven. Set at 375. Very quickly bells went off saying it was at the preheat temp. Check temp gauge i had put on rack. Showed 200 degrees. Waited. Eventually go up to 275. Checked in different spots in oven. All have different temps, but none above 275. Checked 2nd oven...same issue. Went through manual. Adjusted the temp sensor as per manual to the max allowable (+35). tested again. Closer, but sit out between 25 and 40 degrees depending on where temp gauge is. Took pictures to pass on. Then we tried stove top. Put just over 2 Quarts of water in pan onto fast boil element. Timed the boil. Over 25 minutes on high and still not boiling. Element kicks on for 3 seconds, then off. Tried it on regular burner. 12.5 minutes to get it to boil. I took this info to Home depot the next day, and surprisingly was told " the 48 hours was only for cosmetic issues. We would have to go through Samsung Warranty. That was not what we were told when we bought it. I t was that we needed to check everything out within 48 hours so as to have Home Depot take care of any issues. I told them we haven't even used the range yet, and it should be replaced but they said only Samsung can authorize that. Contacted Samsung the next day. They gave me a "Special Products" phone number. Called them today. Told them what was going on. After spending and hour on the phone with them and having them tell me to check the AC values, is it in Demo mode, etc, it is decided they will send a Tech. Nice way to start off your experience with a Samsung appliance. I will update this once I deal with the tech. Hopefully all is resolved, and I will give it a better review, but from what I can see, as for one issue, it looks like the temp gauge is right above the convection fan, which probably triggers it too quickly, giving false preheat errors, shutting down the heating temp, etc. Its an endless cycle. The sensor should be moved or have some sort of shield as to have it trigger more off ambient temperature vs heat blown right on it. But who am i to say... I'm just a consumer!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk I purchased one of theses stove 1 year ago in March salesperson asked if I was interested in purchasing extended warranty and I made the mistake of thinking that after spending to much moneyon a “GOOD QUALITY “ brand name I shouldn’t need extended warranty my mistake. I just talked to a customer service rep about an issue the hot surface light stays on and the self cleaning oven will not work , she told me that I was out of warranty and that I should of purchased extended warranty and offered a phone number for a local appliance repair company. These will be my last Samsung appliances.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY!!! Purchase this stove 1 1/2 years ago and it is the most infuriating item I have ever purchased. The oven does not heat the same on both sides. I do a lot of baking so this is very inconvenient, I have to stop whatever I am doing to turn items in oven to make sure it is cooked evenly. Had repairman out and he was baffled. He measured the temperature of the oven and saw there was a difference in both sides. He replaced the mother board but to no avail did not correct anything. Second complaint is the top. It marks so easily and the only way to clean it is with the glass top cleaner every time. If I had the funds this stove would go directly to the dump.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Bought this one year ago. Warming drawer broke the first time it was used....one item in the center that was not heVy and the door jammed...Christmas day....would not open or close (was half open). Withpeople about to arrive we had no choice but to remove drawer slides...plastic and flimsy. Top of range marked on the first use DESPITE following all cleaning and prep instructions. Now the top oven thermostat is not working...oven either overheats or doea not heat....piece of complete garbage. I will never buy Samsung again.
