Dimensions and clearances


The following guidelines will help you determine if your wahser fits in the space you have available. We recommend at least 25 mm (1 inch) of clearance on all sides, 150 mm (5.9 inches) of clearance at the back, 50 mm (2 inch) of clearance at the front and 432 mm (or 17 inches) at the top. Remember that when it comes to clearance around the washer, more clearance is better than less.

Note: The provided information refers to the appliances sold in Canada. The available settings and options may differ from appliances sold in other countries.

Note: If both the washer and a dryer are installed in the same location, the front of the alcove or closet must have at least a 465 cm² (72 in²) unobstructed air opening. Your washer alone does not require a specific air opening.
