What Kind Of Cleaners Should I Avoid Using In/On My Samsung Refrigerator?

Last Update Date : Apr 12. 2018

General Maintenance

The best way to clean your appliances is with a cleaner or polish, which can be purchased as a liquid, paste, or foam.

Important: Many companies make product to clean fridges. We recommend them for the outside. We are not being specific because we don’t want to support a company in particular and we want the customer to choose the product he/she likes. For the inside, you can create a homemade cleaner by diluting baking soda, bleach and/or vinegar into hot water (that homemade cleaner can be used for the outside, as well). General recipes are easy to find online by searching for “clean fridge” or any equivalent keywords.

However, you always want to avoid abrasive chemicals that can corrode or deteriorate metal and plastic.

List of Specific Ingredients to Avoid

• Methyl Palmitate

• Methyl Linolate

• Methyl Icosanoate

• Limonene
