Can I Assign MP3's As Ringtones On My SGH-i616?

To change the default incoming call ringtone to an MP3 follow the steps below:

 

  1. While in standby mode, press the left soft key for Start
  2. Select Settings
  3. Select Sounds (2)
  4. Select Ringtone (1)
  5. Select desired MP3, using the navigation keys
  6. Press the left soft key for Done to save the ringtone changes

  

Note: MP3 files transferred to the handset via Activesync may not be able to be used as ringtones or alerts

 

Please Note: MP3 files must NOT be located within a memory card folder
