Galaxy Core: Why was the Menu button removed on my device?
Most Android™ applications now include a Menu or More options button within the application itself, reducing the need for a physical Menu button. In place of the Menu button, your mobile device offers one-touch access to recent applications for fast multitasking. In certain applications, you can touch and hold the Recent Apps button to view the Menu options.
