Wi-Fi

To save your mobile data usage charges, turn your Wi-Fi on. Wi-Fi is a wireless connectivity feature that lets you connect Wi-Fi enabled devices to share information or to connect to the internet.

Screens and settings available may vary depending on your Canadian wireless service provider and your software version.

Connecting to Wi-Fi

1 From the Home screen, touch Apps.
2 Touch Settings.
3 Touch Connections.
4 Touch Wi-Fi.
5 Touch the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to.

6 If required, enter the password (if required) and then touch CONNECT.

7 After Wi-Fi is connected, the Wi-Fi indicator will appear in the status bar.

If you are not connected to your Wi-Fi, make sure you check your Wi-Fi password and try again.

Turning Wi-Fi On or Off

1 To access your Wi-Fi, open the Notification Panel by swiping down from the top of your screen.

2 To turn Wi-Fi on or off, touch Wi-Fi.

Note: After your Wi-Fi has been connected, your device will automatically scan and connect to any previously connected network.
