To save your mobile data usage charges, turn your Wi-Fi on. Wi-Fi is a wireless connectivity feature that lets you connect Wi-Fi enabled devices to share information or to connect to the internet.

Note: Screens and settings available may vary depending on your Canadian wireless service provider and your software version.

Connecting to Wi-Fi

Note: If you are not connected to your Wi-Fi, make sure you check your Wi-Fi password and try again.

1 From the Home screen, touch Apps.
2 Touch Settings.
3 Touch Connections.
4 Touch Wi-Fi.
5 Touch your Wi-Fi network.

6 If required, enter the password and then touch CONNECT.

Note: If a password is not required, you can simply touch CONNECT.

7 After Wi-Fi is connected, the Wi-Fi indicator will appear in the status bar.

Turning Wi-Fi On or Off

1 To access your Wi-Fi, open the Notification Panel by swiping down from the top of your screen.

2 To turn Wi-Fi on or off, touch Wi-Fi.
