Set Up Samsung Pass
Use Samsung Pass to access your favorite services with biometric data. You must sign into your Samsung account to use Samsung Pass.

Enable Unknown Sources
Enabling Unkown sources allows your phone to install apps from sources other than the Play Store or Galaxy Apps. Do not download unknown apps as it makes your smartphone more vulnerable to malware and viruses. Samsung is not liable for any issue caused by any app downloaded from any unknown source. This is a recommendation but final decision is yours.
Set up Secure Folder
Lock your private content and apps to enhance security. You must sign into your Samsung account in order to use Secure Folder. You must also set a secure lock for your phone.
Use Secure Folder
Secure Folder may be located in the Samsung folder.
• Lock: Locks your Secure Folder.
• Add apps: Add the desired apps to Secure Folder.
• Add files: Add the desired files to Secure Folder.
• Edit Apps: Uninstall the desired app from Secure Folder or add the desired apps to a Home screen.
Protect your phone by using a screen lock when it is turned on. For this example, the phone has a PIN lock set up. Your phone must have a screen lock set up to enable this function.
This screen will vary depending on the type of lock screen you have set up.
Encrypt SD Card
Protect the data on your microSD card by encrypting it. Encryption is a mean to protect any data stored on your SD card. Once encrypted, only your smartphone can read the data stored on your SD card.
If you have a screen lock set up, you will need to enter your credentials. If you reset your device to the factory defaults with this setting enabled, the device will not be able to read your encrypted files. Disable this setting before resetting the device (follow the same path and touch "Decrypt SD card").
