Galaxy S6: How do I set up the Mobile Hotspot or tethering on my Samsung Galaxy S6?
The Mobile HotSpot feature lets you share your mobile device's data connection with other devices by turning your device into a wireless access point. You can connect up to eight wireless devices via Wi-Fi®.
Note: Screens and settings available may vary by wireless service provider and software version.
Turn On Mobile HotSpot
Important: Using your mobile device as a wireless access point or wireless modem is data-intensive and will dramatically reduce battery life. We recommend contacting your wireless service provider to ask about availability with your plan. We also recommend keeping your device plugged in while the hotspot feature is on.
The Mobile HotSpot icon displays at the top of your screen when Mobile HotSpot is turned on.

Your mobile device can be used as a wireless modem to share its mobile data connection with a single computer.
