Galaxy S6: How do I view and share screenshots on my Samsung Galaxy S6?

Screenshots


There are several ways to view screenshots on your device. Screenshots are copied to the clipboard and saved to the Screenshots folder in the Gallery.

Note: Screens and settings available may vary by wireless service provider and software version.

View a Screenshot


To view a screenshot immediately after you capture it:


1. Open the Notification Panel by swiping from the top of the screen to the bottom.

2. Touch Screenshot captured to open the screenshot.

3. You can also quickly DELETE, EDIT, or SHARE the screenshot from the Notification Panel.


To view your screenshots at any time:


1. From the Home screen, touch Apps 3 .

2. Touch Gallery 3 .

3. Touch 3 and select Albums.

4. Touch Screenshots.

5. Touch the desired screenshot.

Share a Screenshot


From the Notification Panel

1. Open the Notification Panel by swiping from the top of the screen to the bottom.

2. From the Screenshot captured notification, touch SHARE.

3. Share the screenshot using one of the available options. Sharing options vary based on applications installed and features turned on.

Note: Swipe to the left or right to reveal more sharing options.

From the Gallery

1. From the Home screen, touch Apps 3 .

2. Touch Gallery 3 .

3. Touch 3 and select Albums.

4. Touch Screenshots.

5. Touch the desired screenshot.

6. Touch Share 3 at the bottom of the screen.

7. Share the screenshot using one of the available options. Sharing options vary based on applications installed and features turned on.

Screenshot Options


1. From the Home screen, touch Apps 3 .

2. Touch Gallery 3 .

3. Touch 3 and select Albums.

5. Touch the desired screenshot.

When viewing the screenshot, the following options are available at the bottom of the screen:

Favourite: Mark the screenshot as a favourite.

Share: Share the screenshot using one of the available options. Sharing options vary based on applications installed and features turned on.

Edit: Choose to Crop the photo, edit it using Photo Editor, or add it to a Collage.

Delete: Delete the screenshot.


The following options are available at the top of the screen:


CAMERA: Open the Camera application.

MORE: Access the following options:

        • Details: View technical information about the screenshot, such as its size.

        • Slideshow: Start a slideshow of the screenshots in the folder.

        • Set as contact picture: Set the screenshot as a contact photo.

        • Set as wallpaper: Set the screenshot as wallpapers.
