Galaxy S7: Why is 'This tag is not supported' message appearing on my Samsung Galaxy S7?

NFC Tag

If you try to use NFC tagging when using the Flip Wallet, and you have credit cards in the Flip Wallet, the NFC feature may not work normally.

 

When touching your device to the back of another device to use NFC tagging, please remove any credit cards from the Flip Wallet to prevent disruption of the NFC function. Also remember to turn off NFC when you are not using it.

Turn Off/On NFC

1 From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
2 Tap NFC and payment
