Charging your S9+
Only use charging devices and batteries approved by Samsung. Samsung accessories are designed for your phone to maximize battery life. Using other accessories may invalidate your warranty and may cause damage.
For fastest charging times, use the Adaptive Fast Charger that came with your phone. You can also fast charge your phone by using a Wireless charger (not included).
Screens and settings available may vary depending on your Canadian wireless service provider and your software version.
Turn On Fast Cable Charging
Are you ready to charge your phone at the speed of light? We thought so. Read on to learn how to turn on fast cable charging.
If the option is not available on your device, make sure your device is connected to an Adaptive Fast Charger with the provided USB cable while you are trying to activate it. The label “Adaptive Fast Charger” will be displayed on an Adaptive Fast Charger.
Free yourself from the cables and cords and start wirelessly charging your phone. The best part is, that it only takes one step! But before you start, keep this in mind: While charging, the phone and the charger may become hot. This does not affect the phone's lifespan or performance and is in the phone's normal range of operation. If the phone or charger goes out of normal range, charging automatically stop so they can cool down.
To charge your phone wirelessly, place the phone on top of the wireless charging station (not included). Though it may seem like a no-brainer, make sure the wireless charger is plugged in.
