Galaxy Tab E LTE: How do I backup my data on my Samsung Galaxy Tab E LTE?

Keep your personal information, app data, and settings safe on your device. You can back up your sensitive information to a backup account and access it later.

Note: Screens and settings available may vary by wireless service provider and software version.

Backup Data using Samsung Account


1. From the Home screen, touch Apps .

2. Touch Settings .

3. Scroll to and touch Backup and reset 1.

4. Touch Back up my data under Samsung account.

5. If prompted (if your device is still not connected to a Samsung account), enter your ID and your password and then touch SIGN IN, to log in to an existing Samsung Account. Touch CREATE ACCOUNT to create a new Samsung account, if you don't have one. For this example, we used an existing account.

6. Touch the slider Curseur off next to Auto back up Curseur On to turn this feature on.

7. Touch OK to proceeed.

8. Select the content you want to back up by touching a slider Curseur off to include the corresponding content Curseur On into the backup files.

9. Touch BACK UP NOW to complete the process and back up your files.

Restore Backup Data using Samsung Account:


1. From the Home screen, touch Apps .

2. Touch Settings .

3. Scroll to and touch Backup and reset 1.

4. Touch Restore under Samsung account.

5. Touch RESTORE NOW to complete the process.

Note: The content included in the backup file will be selected by default and checked Icon checkbox. Uncheck any content you don't want to restore.

Backup Data via Google Account


1. From the Home screen, touch Apps .

2. Touch Settings .

3. Scroll to and touch Backup and reset 1.

4. Touch Back up my data under Google account.

5. If necessary, touch the slider Curseur off to turn Back up my data on Curseur On.

6. Touch the Back key to return to the previous screen. Then, touch Backup account.

7. Select a backup account to complete or touch Curseur Off Add account to log-in to a different account or create a new account.

8. Your application data and settings are now backed up to Google Server and will auto restore when reinstalling an application. Automatic restore must be turned on Curseur On.
