Galaxy Tab E LTE: How do I use Flight mode on my Samsung Galaxy Tab E LTE?

Flight mode


TSA regulations require you to turn off your device or set it to Flight mode for the duration of your flight. The Flight mode feature turns off your device's connection to your wireless service provider as well as your device's Wi-Fi feature. After your flight, you can turn off the Flight mode feature to reconnect to Wi-Fi and mobile data networks.

Note: Screens and settings available may vary by wireless service provider and software version.

Turn On Flight mode


From Settings

1. From the Home screen, touch Apps 1.

2. Touch Settings 1.

3. Touch Flight mode 1.

4. Touch the slider Curseur off to turn Flight mode on Curseur On.

5. When Flight mode is on, you will see the Flight mode indicator icon in the status bar.

From the Notification Panel

1. Swipe from the top of the screen to the bottom to access the Notification Panel.

2. Swipe to the left to display all available icons. Then, touch Flight mode 1.

Turn Off Flight mode


From Settings

1. From the Home screen, touch Apps 1.

2. Touch Settings 1.

3. Touch Flight mode 1.

4. Touch the slider Curseur On to turn Flight mode off Curseur off.

Note: When Flight mode is off, the Flight mode indicator icon will disappear from the status bar.

From the Notification Panel

1. Swipe from the top of the screen to the bottom to access the Notification Panel.

2. Swipe to the left to display all available icons. Then, touch Flight mode 1 to turn off Flight mode.
