Galaxy Tab2: What is Blocking Mode and how do I use it?

Last Update Date : Apr 09. 2018

Blocking Mode

The Blocking mode allows you to disable notifications on the device. To set your device to use the Blocking mode feature, open the Notification Panel by touching the clock in the lower-right corner, and touch Settings 1 > Blocking mode. Touch the slider 2 to turn Blocking mode on 3 and place a check mark next to Disable notifications.

Set the time you would like the Blocking mode to be active for or select Always to keep it on constantly.

To quickly turn on Blocking mode, open the Notification Panel and touch the shortcut for Blocking mode. When the feature is on, the shortcut will appear green.
