Galaxy Watch Active - Use the different silent modes (SM-R500)
To make sure you're always on track, you set all kinds of reminders on your smartwatch. But sometimes they can be more distracting than helpful. If you are somewhere where alerts (excluding Alarms) need to be silenced, like the library or a movie theater, you can temporarily disable them. You can also turn them off when it's time to go to sleep.
Available screens and settings may vary by provider, phone, or watch.
If you have a lot of work to do, set Do not disturb on your smart watch. It will silence all alerts, except Alarms, to help minimize distractions.
To activate Do not disturb mode, swipe down from the top of the screen to open the quick settings panel. Next, tap the Do not disturb icon. You can choose when you want the mode to activate.
To schedule when Do not disturb turns on and off, navigate to Settings. Swipe to and tap Advanced, and then swipe to and tap Do not disturb. Tap the switch next to Turn on as scheduled, and then tap Set schedule. Select the Start time, End time, and Days. Then, tap Done.
Everyone silences their phones in a movie theater, and if you get alerts on your smart watch, you should silence it too. That way, alerts won't interrupt the movie.
From the smartwatch's Home screen, navigate to Settings. Swipe to and tap Advanced, and then swipe to and tap Theater mode. Tap the switch to turn it on. When you are done watching the movie, make sure you turn the mode off.
With Goodnight Mode, all alert sounds (except Alarms) will be silenced so you sleep well at night.
On your watch, navigate to Settings. Swipe to and tap Advanced, and then swipe to and tap Goodnight mode. Tap the switch next to Turn on now to turn the mode on.
