Your watch is really durable, but just like everything else, it needs some love. Just like with all your devices, you need to make sure you’re giving it the very best care. Follow these tips to keep your watch running in top shape.

Every watch performs a little differently, depending on how it's made. Let’s learn more about your watch, so you'll know what to expect. From your phone, open Galaxy Wearable, and then touch the INFO tab. Next, touch the icons at the top of the screen to view your watch's BatteryStorage, and RAM information.

Increase Battery LifeClick to Expand

Just like people, watches perform better when they have some energy in reserve. To increase the battery life on your watch, enable Power saving mode or Watch only mode

Power saving mode will use a grayscale Home screen, turn off all functions (except calls, messages, and notifications), turn off Wi-Fi, and limit your watch's performance. Using Watch only mode will only show you the watch and disable all other functions. To access these features, navigate to Settings and then touch Battery. Then, choose your desired setting.

Got too much junk cluttering up your watch? Time to clean it up to help it run more smoothly. From your phone, open the Galaxy Wearable app and then touch the INFO tab. Touch Storage and then CLEAN NOW. You can also see how much space images, audio files, and apps are taking up on your watch.

Free Up MemoryClick to Expand
Free Up Memory

Clear out some stuff so your watch has room to breathe. You can free up memory by stopping certain apps from running in the background. From your phone, open the Galaxy Wearable app and then touch the INFO tab. Touch RAM, deselect the apps you want to keep running, and then touch CLEAN NOW.

By default, all apps will be selected to stop running.
