Galaxy Watch - Reactivation Lock (SM-R800 & SM-R810)

If something happens to your watch, you won't have to worry about something getting their hands on your personal information. The Reactivation lock feature on your watch uses your Samsung account login to ensure that no one but you can activate it if it's lost or stolen. For an extra layer of security, if you or someone else resets your watch to factory settings, your Samsung account login will be required to complete the reset.

Available screens and settings may vary by provider, phone, or watch.

Reactivation lock may not be on by default, so make sure you enable it, just in case anything happens to you watch. On your phone, open the Galaxy Wearable app, touch the SETTINGS tab, and then touch Find My Watch. Touch SET SECURITY and then Reactivation lock. Touch the slider to turn it on. Enter the password for your Samsung account, and then touch CONFIRM.

Be sure to keep your Samsung account password safe. It is also needed to turn off Reactivation lock.
