Gear Circle: What are the in-call options when using my Samsung Gear™ Circle?

You can control several options during a call on your Samsung Gear™ Circle.*

*3G coverage is not available everywhere and requires a qualifying wireless plan. Consult your carrier for details.

Adjust Call Volume


When you are on an active call on your Gear Circle, you can adjust the volume by swiping the Volume control touch pad on the outside of the right earphone. Swipe up to increase the volume or down to decrease it.

Switch Sound Output


To transfer call audio from your mobile device to your Gear Circle, touch Bluetooth® 1 on the mobile device call screen.

If your Gear Circle earphones are connected while you are on an active call on your mobile device, you can transfer the call audio to the Circle by separating the earphones.

To send the call audio from your Gear Circle to your mobile device, touch Bluetooth 1 on the mobile device call screen.

Place a Call On Hold


When you are on an active call on your Gear Circle, you can place the call on hold by pressing the Play/Talk key. To resume the call, press the Play/Talk key again.

Answer a Second Call


When you are on an active call on your Gear Circle and receive a second call, the Circle will beep. To end the first call and answer the second, press the Play/Talk key. To put the first call on hold when you answer the second, press and hold the Play/Talk key. To switch between the current call and the call on hold, press and hold the Play/Talk key.

End a Call


There are several options for ending a call on your Gear Circle. You can end the call by pressing the Play/Talk key or by removing the earphones and connecting them.

You can also end the call by touching End call 1 on the connected mobile device call screen.


Warning: The Gear Circle contains magnets in its earbuds. The American Health Association (US) and the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (UK) both warn that magnets can affect the operation of implanted pacemakers, cardioverters, defibrillators, insulin pumps, or other electro medical devices (collectively, "Medical Device") within the range of 15cm (6 inches). If you are a user of any of these Medical Devices, DO NOT USE THE GEAR CIRCLE UNLESS YOU HAVE CONSULTED WITH YOUR PHYSICIAN.
