Gear Fit2 Pro - Connect the watch to a mobile device (SM-R365)

You need to connect your Gear Fit2 Pro to your mobile device before using the Gear Fit2 Pro. 


To connect your Gear to a mobile device, install the Samsung Gear app on the mobile device. Depending on your mobile device, you can download the Samsung Gear app from the following places:   


     • Samsung Android devices: Galaxy Apps, Play Store   

     • Other Android devices: Play Store

     • iOS devices: App Store 


You cannot install the Samsung Gear app on the mobile devices that do not support Gear syncing. Ensure that your mobile device is compatible with a Gear.

1 Turn on the Gear. It automatically enters Bluetooth pairing mode.
2 Select a language to use and tap Next.

A screen will appear about downloading and installing the Samsung Gear app.

3 On the Apps screen of mobile device, launch Samsung Gear or Galaxy Wearable . If necessary, update the app to the latest version.

5 Tap TURN ON when the Bluetooth activation request window appears.
6 Tap the target Gear device.
7 Confirm the passkeys displayed on your Gear and mobile device are matched. Then Tap OK.
8 Read the Terms and Conditions on screen instructions and tick the check boxes.

9 If you want to sign in to your Samsung account, tap SIGN IN. Or, If you want to sign at later, just tap SKIP.
10 Select the apps to receive notifications from your mobile device and then tap NEXT.
11 When the devices are connected, the Samsung Gear app’s main screen will be displayed on the mobile device, and an on-screen tutorial will appear on the Gear’s screen. Follow the on-screen instructions to learn the Gear’s basic controls.

When you connect the Gear to another mobile device, a pop-up window will ask you to reset the Gear. Make sure you back up any important data stored in the Gear.
