Water resistance

Going swimming? Your Gear Sport is always ready for a dip. Just make sure you turn on Water lock mode to prevent from accidentally touching your screen or activating it with wake-up gesture while you're working on that freestyle stroke.

Screens and settings available may vary by wireless service provider and software version.

Water lock mode

Swim-proof and ready for anything, the Gear Sport keeps working in the pool, the rain, and even in the shower. If you want to prevent any accidental touches to the screen while you're chopping through the waves, turn on Water lock mode.

1 Swipe down the Status panel, touch then Water lock mode icon.

2 Touch the Check icon to validate your choice.
3 To turn off water lock mode, press and hold the Home button.

Whenever your Gear Sport gets wet, lightly shake it to remove any water before using it.
