How do I insert a Nano SIM card into my Galaxy S8+ or remove it?

Nano SIM card


Your device uses a Nano SIM card to provide you with access to your wireless service provider's mobile data network.

Note: Screens and settings available may vary depending on your Canadian wireless service provider and your software version.

Insert the Nano SIM card


Warning: Be careful not to insert the ejector tool into the microphone hole also located on top of your device.

1. Insert the removal tool into the hole on the SIM card and memory card tray, and then push until the tray pops out.

2. Place the Nano SIM card on the tray with the gold contacts facing down and then slide the SIM card/Memory card tray back into the slot.

Remove the Nano SIM card


Warning: Be careful not to insert the ejector tool into the microphone hole also located on top of your device.

1. Insert the ejector tool into the hole in the SIM and microSD card tray on the top of your device, as shown below. When the tray pops out, pull it out of the device.

2. Remove the Nano SIM card from the tray and then insert the tray back into the device.
