Are All Your Plasma TVs High Definition (HDTV)?
All Samsung Plasma TVs are not high definition televisions.
The SP-P4231, HP-P4261, SP-P4251, SPN4235, and SPL4225K are enhanced definition televisions (EDTV). They display images in the 480p format.
The HP-P5071, HP-P5031, HPN4239, HPN5039, and HPN6339 are high definition TV (HDTV) monitors that are HDTV ready. That is, each has a built in tuner that lets you receive and view standard channels, but you must purchase a separate HDTV capable set top box such as the Samsung SIR-T451 or SIR- TS360 to receive and view HDTV broadcasts. In addition, the set top box must be attached to an appropriate HDTV source, either a cable system that broadcasts HDTV, a satellite dish that can receive HDTV, or an antenna that can pick up over the air HDTV broadcasts.
