I Get Overlapping Images When Running XBOX Through The Component Inputs.

Last Update Date : Apr 09. 2018

Image overlap occurs when you run your XBOX through Component inputs 2 or 3. It happens because the output signal from the XBOX begins at 480i and then changes to 480p when you insert a game into the XBOX.

If the component input doesn't start at the correct resolution, then the TV does not display the signal properly or displays an error message, depending on your model.

To work around this problem, try plugging your XBOX into Component 1 on your set.
