My TV Is Displaying The Words "Factory Test", What Could Be Wrong?

Your TV needs to be reset. To reset your TV, follow these steps:


  1. Turn on your TV.
  2. While Factory Test or Auto Test is on the screen, press the Exit button on your remote control. The TV should turn off.
  3. Unplug the TV.
  4. Leave the TV off and unplugged for at least 8 hours.


If the problem is still present when you turn your TV back on eight hours later, service is required. Call Samsung Customer Care at 1-800-SAMSUNG (1-800-726-7864) to arrange for a service call.
