Soundstand: The Audio From My Samsung Soundstand Sounds Low, How Can I Increase It?

Low Audio Level


If your audio is too low, check the following:

The source you are watching

For example, the low volume may only be on one channel because of the particular programming, change the channel or the video source and determine if it's occuring on all channels and sources.

The volume level

Be sure to use the Sound stand volume up and down buttons and not the TV volume buttons.

The connection cables

Make sure they are inserted firmly into the Sound stand inputs and the connected device outputs.

The volume level on the connected device

For example if you have connected your cable box to your sound stand, check the volume level on your cable box.

The Audio setting on your cable box or satellite receiver

The audio setting depends on the type of connection you have. For example if using an HDMI connection your cable box audio settings should be set to PCM, if you are not sure, access the Audio Settings on your cable box or satellite receiver and then try each setting before setting it to the one you prefer.

The Sound Mode

Press the Sound Effect button on your Sound stand remote. Each time the button is pressed it will toggle thru Cinema, Sports, Voice, Music, Standard (Off). Original sound from the external device passes to the Sound bar when set to Standard.
