What Channel Does My TV Need To Be On For My DVD/VCR To Function?

Last Update Date : May 16. 2018

If you connected your  DVD/VCR combination unit (or your separate DVD player or VCR) to your TV's antenna or RF input, you would set your TV to either channel 3 or channel 4.  In most cases, you would select channel 3.

If you connected your DVD/VCR unit to your TV using the TV's Line In or Aux In jacks, you would set your TV to Line In or Aux In. If you used the AV or Video In jacks, you would set your TV to AV or Video In.
