Rated 1 out of 5 by from Can't get it to work I just received my adapters for my 7500 series washer and dryer. I cannot get them to work, and do not know where to go for assistance. The appliances are great. The adapter is poor. I have numerous Samsung products that I love.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sounded much better than it was When I bought the washer and dryer, I could not wait to try and connect it to the network (and even smartthings) to automate and monitor them. The reality was far different than expectation. This does allow you to monitor your wash and dry cycles, and customize settings. What is not made obvious is that you must push a button EVERY single time to activate the wireless adapter. ..because obviously a washer and dryer hooked into a 110/220 outlet should save energy by turning off a 2-3W network adapter.. if it was always on, allowing you to connect as needed to alert you to its status, it would be perfect. Instead it is a poorly thought add-on, that feels as if it was just hacked to make it work. Completely not worth it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Useless We bought a pair of these to connect our washer and dryer to the smart home we are doing. They are only connected to the internet when the washer and dryer are on, so don't expect to fluff your clothes or run a refresh on your way home from work. Literally the only thing they do is tell you when the cycles are done. (You can start a cycle, but you are already standing at the machine because you had to turn it on)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Won't stay connected to wifi I can get it to connect to WIFI, and I can start a load in the washer or dryer, but then when I go back to check on the status, it has disconnected again. During the cycle, it will SOMETIMES reconnect and allow me to see the status, but then just minutes later it is gone again. The Smart Home app interface needs to be a little easier to use during setup. Interface is ok after setup, if it stays connected. I have not tried moving my router closer to the laundry room, but all other WIFI devices work fine throughout the house and this is closer than most of them. If moving it closer helps, I will come back and update my review. My suggestion is to build the WIFI into the washer/dryer in future models so that you can get a better WIFI radio into it. This adapter just doesn't live up to the quality level of what I would normally expect from a Samsung product. The washer and dryer are awesome products, I just wish this adapter was the same.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Smart Home Adapter I have used this devices for a few weeks and find it is only good monitoring the washer. If the washer has a load in it and it's turned off, you can't remotely tell it to start. If it's on a delayed start, you can see how much time is left before it starts, but you can't remotely change it. It is also slow to connect to the network. On the positive side we can look on our phones to see how much time is left in a wash cycle and the washer sends us a notification when the load is done (washers chimes are too quiet to be heard through a closed door).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very hard to setup - still trying to make my washer smart I'm following the instructions exactly with no luck. The wifi connection between my washer and AP keeps failing. They are less than 10 yards apart. Not easy at all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works fine with Fridge/Freezer I'm using this dongle with a Samsung Fridge/Freezer, model RF23M8070SR. The dongle does everything I expected, which isn't all that much, but now Alexa can tell me what the temperature is in the freezer or refrigerator, she might also be able to do other things that the Samsung Smart Home app can do (turn off icemaker, etc) but I need to play around with it more. Setup went fine, luckily I'd read some reviews that said to switch to airplane mode on your phone (Nexus 6) - which I had to do before it would find my wifi network. Connecting to Alexa was easy, I just enabled the Samsung Smart Home skills, I tried discovering the device in the alexa app but it couldn't find the fridge. Seems it works fine with just the skill enabled. It would be handy if Alexa could tell me if the fridge door was open, but it doesn't seem to. I give it 4 stars because it does what I expected, but it should do more for the price.
