How do I use AR Emoji on Galaxy S20, S20+, S20 Ultra, and Z Flip?

There are two kinds of animated emojis that turn you into either an animated My Emoji or your favorite cartoon characters. Creating and using your own animated augmented reality emoji, called My Emoji, is simple. Open the Camera app, switch to AR Emoji mode, and then tap "Make my Emoji". From there, follow the instructions to make your own AR Emoji that follows your movements. With AR Emoji, you can record videos and take selfies using the animated emojis as a mask.

Once you've created My Emoji, tap AR Emoji in the Camera app, select your Emoji or a character mask, and hit the shutter button to take a selfie, or the Record button to shoot a video. You can also use your Emoji in chat apps, getting your message across by using the stickers that are instantly produced when you make My Emoji.

*AR Emoji is available on Galaxy S20, S20+, S20 Ultra, Z Flip, Note10, Note10+, S10e, S10, S10+, Fold, Note9, S9, and S9+.
*AR Emoji is in MASK mode when first created and follows your facial expressions. To have your AR Emoji follow your body movements, MIRROR mode must be selected. AR Emoji movements do not include hand gestures. For best results when using MIRROR mode, include full body in the frame.
*AR Emoji may only be sent with apps supporting GIF format.
*Availability may vary on other Galaxy models.
*Apps that do not support animated GIFs may still send your Emoji as a non-moving image.
