What is a dual lens camera and do Galaxy S9+ and Galaxy Note9 have it?

The Galaxy S9+ and Galaxy Note9 have a dual lens camera that aims to give you clear photos even at night or when there’s camera shake. That’s because the wide-angle camera is able to focus fast and accurately with its 12MP Dual Pixel Sensor, and takes great pictures even in low light thanks to the large 1.4µm pixels and bright F1.5 (S9+) or F1.7 (Note8) lens. You get sharp photos or videos from afar with the 2x optical zoom and since both cameras come with optical image stabilization (OIS), you can aim for crisp and clear photos even when your hands aren’t so steady.

Portrait photos of your friends are better with the Live focus feature on the Galaxy S9+ and Galaxy Note9. Before taking the shot, select Live focus mode and put the focus on the person by adjusting the background blur. On the Galaxy S9+, you can also use shape filters to enhance the lighting in the background blur. And if you change your mind after you take the photo, you can change the blur level in the photo gallery.
