How does Face recognition work on Galaxy S20, S20+, S20 Ultra, and Z Flip?

Face recognition lets you unlock your phone in one quick move. It was first introduced to Galaxy devices with the Galaxy S8 and S8+. To use Face recognition, go to Lock Screen Security in Settings, tap Face Recognition, then use the unlock method you set up to activate the feature—this initial unlock method is your PIN, password, or pattern. If you don't have one, you will be prompted to create one. The front camera will scan your face and map your biometric data to start unlocking with your face.

*Face recognition is supported on Galaxy S20, S20+, S20 Ultra, Z Flip, Note10, Note10+, S10e, S10, S10+, Fold, Note9, S9, S9+, Note8, S8, and S8+.
*Accuracy of Face recognition may differ depending on surrounding conditions.
