Repairability

We consider repairability from the product manufacturing stage. Our research is focused on developing products that are easy to repair for extended use.

Highest Grade in France’s Repairability Assessment

  • From January 2021, all electronic goods sold in France are required to include the label, 'Indice de Réparabilité (Repairability Index)'1).

Our various products including smartphones2), laptops3), TVs4), front-load washers, dishwashers, and vacuum cleaners obtained the highest grade. We will continue to promote product repairability by keeping consumers informed through repair manuals and by ensuring the affordability and availability of spare parts.

  • Information about product repairability based on the criteria defined by the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Ministry for the Economy and Finance of France, such as ease of disassembly, availability/pricing of spare parts, etc. Scores greater than or equal to 8 out of 10, indicated by a green pictogram, means that the product is very easily repairable.
