Reuse Wastewater Sludge

Over 50% of the waste from DS Division is wastewater sludge. We regularly analyze its composition to convert it into resources. The analysis results are available via our internal system, helping us determine applicable usage.

We increase the added value of waste by extracting and recycling copper from wastewater sludge. To minimize sludge generation, we are continuously making improvements such as reducing the water content of sludge and altering the chemicals used in wastewater treatment.
