Commemorating World Water Day

Samsung Electronics’ business sites celebrate World Water Day every year. We team up with local government, civic organizations, nearby schools and our suppliers to help preserve and clean our streams and aquatic ecosystems.

In 2025, approximately 36,200 participants from 26 of our business sites in Korea and around the world engaged in various activities including river cleanups, environmental conservation idea competitions, knowledge contests, and tree planting.

  • * World Water Day: Designated by the UN in 1993, World Water Day is observed on March 22nd each year to highlight the importance of water, raise awareness on the shortage of fresh water and the need to prevent water contamination.
