Privacy Protection Management

We are implementing the Global Privacy Policy across all business divisions to safeguard the personal information of global consumers. Privacy Protection Guidelines for Employees and Guidelines on Third Party Personal Information Processing are provided to all employees. Also, we offer trainings to improve their awareness and understanding of such guidelines.

Privacy Management Process

  • Monitoring the enactment and amendment status of related laws and joining relevant organizations
  • * Joined International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) in 2015
  • * Joined KCPO(Korean Chief Privacy Officers) Council in 2024
 
02 Establishing Policies and Conducting Trainings
  • Establishing relevant policies, guidelines, and response measures and conducting employee trainings.
 
03 Operating Privacy Protection Programs
  • Operating business unit-specific and region-specific privacy protection programs.
  • Operating a program to manage the outsourcing of personal information processing.
 
04 Auditing and Making Improvements
  • Monitoring the implementation of relevant policies and guidelines and taking corrective measures if necessary.

The Visual Display Business obtained international certification on privacy information management system(ISO/IEC 27701) and information security management system certification(ISO/IEC 27001) simultaneously for its business display solutions, a first in the industry.

Privacy Protection Organizational Units

  • Global Privacy Team
    • Sets up privacy strategies and policies and establishes related processes
    • Provides legal advice and support

    • Monitors privacy protection status of respective business unit and conducts training
    • Ensures application and management of privacy protection technologies
  • Privacy Protection Officers at Regional Offices
    • Monitors the status of privacy protection in the region
    • Takes actions when privacy related issues arise
    • Operates a regional privacy council
