We are committed to increasing the number and capability of female leaders in the organization, with a goal to more than double the 2022 proportion of female executives by 2030. Since 2021, we have operated the Next-Generation Women Leadership Workshop to increase women’s participation in recruitment, evaluation, and retirement. We also facilitate a networking program for female executives to cultivate them into exceptional leaders.

In 2024, the gender pay gap* at our domestic sites was 23.7%, a slight improvement from the previous year. A analysis of the gender pay gap by career level (CL) showed that men earned more than women by 1.2% at CL2, 6.4% at CL3, and 5.1% at CL4. At CL1, however, women were found to earn 1.5% more than men.
To respond to the legislation discussions around the world requiring companies to disclose pay equity data, we conducted a pay equity survey in 2024, focusing on our European sales subsidiaries, and identified areas for improvement. We are also fully complying with local regulations by transparently disclosing gender pay gap data at our subsidiaries in the UK, France, and Brazil.
The Next-Generation Women Leadership Workshop has been operated since 2021 in Korea to provide support for our female executive candidates to take a successful leap from a working-level position to an executive position. The Workshop offers participants mentoring by female executives, coaching on leadership skills, and networking opportunities with their peers. This Workshop helps participants establish their own vision and goals and exchange valuable experiences and knowledge with their seniors of the same gender. We plan to continuously expand networking opportunities of this kind for our female employees.
To mark International Women’s Day on March 8, we host diverse events each year for our female employees around the world. Regional managers organize programs that emphasize the significance of diversity and inclusion in the cultural context of their region through meetings, DEI webinars with external speakers, panel discussions, vacation days, and gift-giving ceremonies.
In March 2024, DX Division held a workshop to encourage networking among female executives, promote informal conversations with CEOs to discuss the company’s vision, and empower potential pathways for female leadership.
