Startup support: C-Lab (Creative Lab)
Samsung Electronics’ C-Lab was established to serve as an incubator of ideas with business potential, vitalizing the startup ecosystem in Korea. Employees can suggest their ideas through an internal contest. If selected, they are given a year away from their regular duties to work in a dedicated research space, with funding and full autonomy over their project. As of February 2026, we have supported a total of 1,000 C-Lab in-house ventures and external startups (434 in-house and 566 external). C-Lab Outside startups have secured a total of KRW 1.9 trillion in cumulative investment amount.
C-Lab Spin-off
C-Lab Spinoff is designed to select projects with high growth potential among those cultivated through C-Lab Inside, our in-house venture program, and support them to become fully-fledged startups.
