In March 2023, Hwaseong site received the highest Platinum certification from the Alliance for Water Stewardship, becoming the first to achieve the Platinum level in South Korea.

In 2024, our Suwon, Gumi, Gwangju, Giheung·Hwaseong, Pyeongtaek, Cheonan·Onyang sites as well as the Xi’an site in China and three subsidiaries in Vietnam (SEV, SEVT, and SEHC) also achieved the Platinum level certified by AWS. This means that all DS Division manufacturing sites in South Korea have achieved the Platinum level.

We plan to continue to expand AWS certification to major global sites, including India.
