Engaging Communities

Samsung Electronics continuously engages with its customers through various channels to develop accessible products and services.

  • Samsung Family Supporters

    • An organization comprised of Samsung employees and their family members with disabilities.
    • The official internal channel for actual user feedback to improve the accessibility of our products and services.

  • Accessibility User Group

    • Users are grouped together based on their respective disabilities to better evaluate the accessibility experience and design of our products.
    • The groups evaluate and comment on the accessibility of our products and services which have been launched or are in development.
  • Samsung Supporters (MX)

    • A panel of customers with visual, hearing, and physical disabilities in Korea and the UK.
    • The panel collects feedback on an ongoing basis and conducts in-depth interviews and online surveys to identify improvements based on real usage.
  • Collaborations With Disability Organizations

    • We work together with disability organizations such as the UK’s Royal National Institute of Blind People, the Spanish National Organization of the Blind(ONCE), and Siloam Center for the Blind in South Korea.
    • These organizations participate in user accessibility feature testing and share their insights and pain points.
