Galaxy S8 | S8+ Screen Accidental Damage Coverage FAQ
1. What is Accidental Screen Damage Coverage?
Mobile Phone screen damage coverage is an insurance offered by Samsung Electronics Hong Kong Limited (hereinafter referred to as Samsung HK) to its customers. And The Tokio Marine and Fire Insurance (Hong Kong) Limited (hereinafter referred to as the Tokio Marine) as underwriter.
As long as your mobile phone screen was damaged due to an accident, you can enjoy a screen replacement or repair service in Samsung HK authorised repair center. (accident refers to the unforeseeable and unintentional damage to screen).
2. Coverage Period
The effective date of this coverage is one year from the date of purchases and is successfully registered with ClubS. Please visit Samsung HK authorised repair center for screen replacement or repair services within 14 days after an accident, overdue will not be dealt with.
3. I need to pay premium and how to claim?
The insurance premium has been paid by Samsung HK, the customer is not required to pay any insurance premium and does not have to claim the Tokio Marine at their own expense. Customers are entitled to a screen replacement or repair service by paying a service charge of HK $ 300.
4. How do I make a phone screen replacement or repair service?
Customers only need to bring the screen damaged mobile phone, purchase invoice and ClubS notice, to the following Samsung HK authorised repair center for screen replacement or repair services.

5. During the coverage period, can I enjoy screen replacement or repair services more than once?
Only one-time protection on accidental screen damage is offered during the coverage period.
6. Major Exclusion
Nuclear hazards, war, riots, strikes, civil commotion, terrorism, deliberate, dishonesty and natural wear & tear.
7. Will my personal data be transferred for other purposes?
No. The customer's personal data including name, mobile phone number and identity card number, will not be transferred for other purposes.
