Q: Mobile phone application download stopped midway - What to do
A: If downloading was interrupted and failed, please check your network or internet connection and try it again.
You may experience difficulty in downloading applications when the network connection is not stable; some service
providers also apply a maximum download speed. Once you have made sure that your connection is fine, you can
re-download the applications you have bought at any time without any additional charge. To re-download an application: Please refer to "Find downloaded applications how to redownload applications on your phone" FAQ


Q: Finding downloaded applications and how to redownload applications on your phone
A: You can find downloaded applications and re-download your purchased applications at any time, without additional charge. You can re-download applications by selecting [Purchased] which you will find by clicking the button to the left of the home button. If you are a [Galaxy Tab / Wave] user, please sign first in to Samsung Apps, then go to [My Page] > [My Downloads].


You will find the applications you've downloaded and you can re-download them.
※ You may not be able to re-download an application if the service cannot be provided due to contractual changes with the seller, fatal errors in the application or any other reasons that have caused application services to be disabled.


Q: Updating a downloaded application
A: You can update your downloaded applications.
The number of applications which are available to update is marked on the Samsung Apps icon(Mobile). Select the button to the left of the home button, then click [Purchased] and [Update] in the purchase details page to view
applications available for update.
※ If you are a [Galaxy Tab / Wave] user, In [My Downloads] on Mobile or Kies, you will find a update symbol on any
applications that require a update. You can then update these applications by clicking the relevant button.

 

Q: Error appears when updating previously purchased application
A: First of all, please check your network connection and the version of the firmware that you are using.
The version of the firmware installed on your mobile device should be the same as, or higher than, the version supported by the application. The following describes how you can check the firmware version installed on your mobile device:
Settings > About phone > Firmware version Settings > About phone > System info > Device > SW version Settings > General > About phone > Version


Q: I was trying to download an application, but a pop-up window appeared: "Incompatible OS. Update firmware to download application". What should I do?
A: This message appears when the OS version of the handset is lower than the OS version of the application. In this case, please check in the application description if the application OS version and the handset OS version are
identical. You can check the handset OS version as follows. Settings > About phone > Firmware version Settings > About phone > System info > Device > SW version Settings > General > About phone > Version


Q: When I connect my phone to the computer, some of the application icons in 'My Downloads' become
transparent - Did the applications fail to download?
A: In case any of application appears transparent after you connect your phone to your PC, it means the application is not compatible with your phone hence you cannot install the application. If you connect another phone compatible with the transparent application, the application will be activated. Applications appear transparent in one of following cases.

 

1) The phone you connected to your PC is not compatible with the application.

2) The phone you connected to your PC is not the one on which you previously installed the application.

3) No phone is connected to the PC.
