Q: Becoming a member of Samsung Apps
A: You can join Samsung Apps in the following ways:

1) Mobile You can register by using [Sign in] > [Sign up] in the Options menu.

2) Website Click [Sign up] on the top right-hand side of the main page of Samsung Apps website.

3) Kies Select Samsung Apps widget and click [Sign up].


Q: Signing up again with a different email address
A: You can use the service with multiple e-mail IDs.
However, the breakdown (purchase information, download history, vouchers and QnA lists, etc.) for each specific e-mail ID will not be consolidated into a single account. Please select [Sign up] if you want to add a new e-mail account.


Q: Forgetting your email address or password - What to do?
A: 1) Website

        You can find your Email ID or password by selecting [Sign In] > [Forgot your email or password] on the Sign In page of the Samsung Apps website.

     2) Kies

        Open the Samsung Apps widget, click [Sign In] > [Find Email / Password] in the Sign In window.

 

Q: Changing your personal information (including password)
A: If you want to change your personal information:

 

1) Mobile You can change your credit card information only. You can change the credit card information on the My page
> Change credit card menu after signing in. Please use the Kies and website if you want to change any member information other than credit card information.

 

2) Website Please sign in first and go to [My Page] > [My Profile]. You can change your personal information except your email ID and country by clicking [Edit My Account]. 3) Kies Select the Samsung Apps widget, sign in and then go to [My Page] > [My Profile] > [Edit personal details].


Q: Closing your Samsung App Store account
A: Please sign in first and go to [My Page] > [My Profile] and click [Delete account] to remove your Samsung Account. ※Please note that the breakdown(purchase information, download history, vouchers and QnA lists, etc.) for the account will be removed as well if you delete your account and it can't be restored. You will be unable to redownload any applications or coupons which you have been using with the account after deleting it.


Q: What to do if someone unintended has been accessing your account
A: You should immediately change your password. You can change your password through website or Kies. Please sign in first and go to [My Page] > [My Profile] and click [Edit My Account] on website or [Edit personal details] on Kies to change your password.


Q: Do I have to sign up to buy applications?
A: Yes, if you want to download both free & paid applications, you need to sign up for a Samsung Apps account.
