Millie Bobby Brown
Talks about Cyber Awareness

Digital citizenship begins with #SpreadTheLove.

In honor of National Cyber Bullying Awareness Month, we’ve teamed up with #TeamGalaxy member Millie Bobby Brown to #SpreadTheLove and take a stand on good digital citizenship. Check out how you can do your part to practice healthy cyber awareness habits and simple acts of kindness online.

Spread love

As much as we love the internet, it can be an isolating place for a lot of people—even for Millie who’s experienced this firsthand . Her advice? To use social media as a tool of empowerment for others: “Sending your friend a funny DM or writing a positive comment on someone’s post takes one minute but the impact can be huge. I believe we can all work to make social media a happier place.”

Improve your digital wellness

But remember, balance. Kindness comes a little easier once you take care of your own needs – like establishing healthy boundaries between your real and your digital life.
“I think even sharing something as simple as a cute cartoon with a really empowering message of self-love can be a simple reminder for your followers to take a step back, take a deep breath, and take care of yourself,” says Millie. In fact, research shows that keeping your screen time down to just 30 minutes a day can lead to better mental health outcomes.

Everything in moderation

As you make friends online or DM your true few, features like Digital Wellbeing
