How can I control Galaxy S5 using physical gestures (instead of just touch or voice)?
Air Gestures let you control your mobile device by making specific movements with your hand above the proximity and gesture sensors.
The proximity and gesture sensors are in the top-right corner above the screen. When air gestures are available, a hand icon will appear at the top of your screen.
The sensors recognise gestures when you make smooth, steady movements up to three inches above the sensors.
Air Browse
With Air Browse turned on move to the next or previous screen by moving your hand left or right above the sensors.
To turn it on from the Home screen touch Apps > Settings > Motions and gestures > Air browse.
Touch the slider to turn Air Browse on and then place a check mark next to the applications you wish to turn on (the body of emails, Gallery, Internet, Music, and Music on lock screen).
Air Wake Up
Wake up your device after the screen has turned off by moving your hand back and forth over the sensors. To turn it on from the Home screen touch Apps > Settings > Accessibility > Dexterity and interaction > Air wake up. Touch the slider to turn Air Wake Up on.
