How do I add or delete folders on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S?

How to create a folder:

1. Choose which apps you would like to add to a folder, but be aware that not all apps can be placed into folders.

2. From the Home screen, tap Apps

3. Touch Edit (in the top right corner of the screen)

Only apps with a red minus sign may be added to a folder.

4. Touch and hold the first app that you want to put into a folder.

5. Move the app and hold it over another app that you also want in the folder

6. Release (stop holding) the app.

A folder will appear with the two apps underneath it.

7. Touch Enter folder name. Enter in a name for the folder and touch Done.

8. If you want to move the folder to your Home Screen, touch and hold the folder, then drag it to where you wish it to be placed on the home screen.

Remove a folder from the Home screen:

1. Touch and hold the folder on the Home screen that you wish to remove.

2. Drag it into the Remove icon at the top of the screen, then lift your finger.

Note: you can only remove a folder from the Home Screen. Dragging it to the bin from the apps menu will not work.

How to permanently remove a folder:

1. From the Home screen touch Apps

2. On the screen where you created the folder, touch Edit

3. Touch the minus sign. A pop up will appear

4. Select Delete.

Note: this will only delete the folder. It will not delete the apps.
