How do I switch vibration on and off when I tap keys and icons?

Haptic or vibration feedback is a vibration that occurs when an item on the screen of the device has been touched, giving the user confirmation that they have pressed something.

 

The steps and paths to find vibration options differ depending on the operating system on your device. Select the option below that most closely resembles your device.

Follow the below steps to turn haptic feedback on and off:

1 From the home screen, tap Apps

2 Tap Settings

3 Tap Sounds and vibration or Sounds and notification

If you tapped Sounds and vibration, continue to step 4.

 

If you tapped Sounds and notifications, skip to step 5.

 

4 Tap Vibration feedback to turn it on of off. When enabled the switch will be blue

5 Tap Other sounds, then tick or untick the Heptic feedback box to turn it on and off

Please note: the key-tap vibration feature is not available on all devices. For example, the A40, A50 and A70 are not supported
