Is my mobile compatible with the Gear Fit 2?

The Gear Fit 2 is compatible with Android devices running Android 4.4 or higher with a memory of 1.5GB or higher.  Find out more about how to check what version of Android you have on your device.

If you are having difficulty connecting your Gear Fit 2 to your smartphone, check that you are running an up-to-date version of the Samsung Wearables app, or follow the steps below to show you how to connect.

1 On your phone, open the Galaxy Wearable app. If you don’t already have it you can download it from the Galaxy Store or Play Store

2 Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines)

3 Tap + Add new device. Your device will scan for available devices

4 Once it has found your Gear Fit 2, select it to connect
5 Confirm that the passkey displayed on your smartphone and Gear Fit 2 match. Then, tap Ok
6 Touch the check mark boxes to agree to the Terms and conditions, then tap Next . You will have an option to sign into your Samsung account, or you can select Skip
7 Now your Gear Fit 2 is connected to the Samsung Wearable app. On your Gear Fit 2, you have an option to view the tutorial. You can follow the tutorial instructions or tap Skip
