What is the Dual Capture feature on the Galaxy Note8?

The Dual Capture feature allows you to take two photos at once.

 

One of the images will be a Live Focus image with the focus on the subject and a blurry background.

The other image will be a normal photo with both the subject and the background in focus.

 

How do I use the Dual Capture feature?

1 From the home screen, swipe up to choose apps

3 Choose Live Focus

4 Make sure Dual Capture is enabled. The icon will be yellow when Dual Capture is enabled

5 Adjust the blur using the adjustment slider

6 Choose the camera button to take the photo. Please note: the subject should be approximately 1.2 metres away

Both a Live Focus picture and a normal picture will be saved.
