Why isn't my Gear 360 charging?

You cannot charge the Samsung Gear 360 while using it to record a video, when using the time lapse feature or when using the viewfinder remotely.


This is in order to preserve the image quality and maintain system stability.


The Samsung Gear 360 and its charger may become hot when charging. This is normal. If the battery temperature becomes too high, charging will stop.


Please note that the Samsung Gear 360 may charge slower if using a power source other than the provided charger and power socket (e.g. using a computer).


We recommend using only Samsung-approved chargers, batteries and cables.
