What is the Samsung Multiroom System and how do I use it?

What is the Samsung Multiroom system

The Samsung Multiroom app makes it easy to control the speakers in any room of your house. Multiroom connects to your home Wi-Fi network, linking your compatible speakers together and giving you complete control over each. Play the same song throughout your home, play a different song in each room or use your speakers to create a stereo system, the Multiroom app unlocks a world of possibilities.

Please note: the Samsung Multiroom app is only compatible with specific Samsung speakers and soundbars. If you're trying to connect Samsung speakers that aren't compatible, try using the SmartThings app instead

You can use your Multiroom App and Multiroom Speakers without the Samsung Multiroom Hub, however we recommend using it to get the best multiroom audio experience at home.

The Samsung Multiroom Hub creates a dedicated network for your Samsung speakers. This enables a more stable wireless audio experience, especially in large homes and homes with limited Wi-Fi connectivity.

At times Wi-Fi connectivity and the stability of your home network is affected by the thickness of your walls, distance between speakers, number of floors in your house or the router you are using. The Samsung Multiroom hub helps in providing a more reliable audio experience and an easier setup.
